GEAR DISPLAY NOT WORKING
Also when you select "Gear" using the advanced signals, there may be both a "gear" and "gear #" choice, choose "gear #"
For the gauges not changing colors-
Is your Power Vision firmware and Tune database up to date?
Use the PV Update program to verify.
When you selected your gauges, when you select vehicle signal, does the screen show advanced signals at the top?
Both Engine Speed and Vehicle Speed are available in both the basic and advanced selections.
Make sure you choose the "advanced" signal for the "Engine RPM" and "Vehicle Speed"
See this video at the 1:49 mark to see where you can change the signal type when selecting a gauge.

First of all, yes, the PV is all up to date.
The link you provided just point me to a couple of posts above and I couldn't find anything related ...
The PV is displaying vehicule speed and RPM properly but is not showing the color changes I implemented.
It wasn't displaying gear indicator though, as mentionned.
I'll try the advanced tab and see if it changes anything.
Be safe.

The link worked but this is not my problem.
Maybe I wasn't clear enough.
The gear display is working properly on the bike gauge but it is not working in the Powervision itself.
But maybe it is not the correct tab.
I'll try gear# in the advanced tab and see if it works better.
Thank you anyway :-)
Should I turn off adaptive control to prevent this?
If your VE values are correct you should see only small AFF value changes. Somewhere around 98 to 102, +- ~ 2%
(it seems like the PV/ECU only reports the AFF in 0.8 increments)
It seems to me the AFF seems to adjust for differences mostly in air pressure, following the BARO PV log data,
there may also an offset based on the Intake Air temperature.
The Adaptive Fuel Factor is extended to higher throttle positions.
It seems to me that the AFF you have in an rpm range at 25-30% throttle is what is extended out to 100% throttle.
The O2 sensors do continue to have a voltage even at 12.5 to 1, but since a very small change in voltage means a
larger change in AFR they are not as "accurate", the smallest O2 voltage change the PV/ECU will show is 0.02 volts.
With E0 gasoline at 12.8:1 O2 voltage should be about 0.88, at 0.86 (-0.02v) AFR is ~13.2:1 and at 0.90 (+0.02v) AFR is ~12.2:1

Weve seen certain Dynojet Power Vision PV-1 equipped J1850 bikes experience a Bus Error on their odometer and sometimes this may cause security to shut the bike off upon start up.
This only occurs when the Power Vision is plugged in any only a few bikes appear to be affected.
There is Power Vision firmware that will resolve this, weve also seen this firmware fix gauge freeze that has affected some bikes
