The exposed tables in WinPv have recently changed based on software permissions & user level as the transition moves over to Dynojet Power Core software. The latest version of Power Core C3 has most of the software levels incorporated with more tables than ever before, this is going to be the Power Vision tuning platform going forward
Could you explain what software permissions and user level means. I think I know. Are any of the touring 2021 or 2022 strategy 27 or 28 available in Power Core yet. I tried several others for 2020 touring and 2019 and none of them opened. Did a tune today on a 22 with 30-30 cam and used the 2021 strategy 28 and it worked well. Got a feeling this new computer on the 21 and 22's are causing much difficulty. They do work extremely well and are very accurate/fast.
Someone should probably let Dynojet's techs know this. I called them before finding this out from Lucas this morning. The Dynojet tech had no idea that engineering removed them.
Just trying to get a feel for the change in tuning software I'm experiencing before hand and noticed my MAP at idle was 44. Know that smoothing the VE cells with the CDE tables can affect this, I started snooping around WINPV and noticed these were gone...again apparently.
Thanks for confirming it's not an issue on my end, Sir Jamie...

Does this only apply to the newer m8 models? Or are they integrating the twin cam tunes as well?
Power Vision NBF:O, NBR:O Error Codes, Not Working
Hi everyone, I'm having some trouble with my Power Vision getting some NBF:O, NFR:O error codes, and I'm not sure what the problem is. I'm hoping someone here can help. I have a new to me 2012 Dyna Wide Glide that I put V&H Big Radius pipes, and a Screaming Eagle Stage 1 air cleaner on. I started with the canned tune for my setup but it didn't work well so I tried another tune and it didn't work either. Lots of decel popping and general muffles popping at most times. Generally not running smoothly, but still running. I have tried a bunch of Auto Tunes but no improvement. The cells don't seem to fill much when riding. I tried letting the bike warm up first but it didn't help. I have attached my logfile from today. Any chance someone could have a look?

well thats to bad did you do updates on pv? you should not have any errors i would download tune again just to be sure it wasnt a bad load to be sure
Thanks for the help. I check and the unit is up to date. I'll try loading the tune again and see if it makes a difference. I also reached out to powervision. Will see what they say.

At what user level does one actually need to be at to get these tables? More tables? How about useful tables with tools and directions. Tables that actually affect the tune. I can explain tooth count and I'll give DJ the math for TC's and m8's. It's real easy if you understand how the HDdelphi gets it's trigger and home sync.

speaking of math, finally got back to tuning an m8 and was checking some of the settings in the tune DJ sent me to start with
(128", S&S M8-540 cams) and i remembered that the cam cruncher (which is nice it's included in the power core now) still has the old TC teeth calculation in it. i thought i had figured out the conversion but couldn't find my notes. comparing a TC and M8 crank and the positions of the CPS, i came up with:
does that sound right or am i off a tooth either way (don't have a bare m8 crankset, so i was just comparing photos of them). basically because tooth 1 is now just after TDC and the CPS moved down around 5 something o'clock when viewed from the right side of the cases the difference appears to be about that many teeth. for the S&S 540 cam, CC gives IVO of 8.something, 27-8 = 19 which is what the tune DJ gave me has. comments?
