Power Vision Information Thread

Please know that the Power Vision does not need to remain plugged in or mounted on your bike. The only time it needs to be utilized is when you are flashing tunes, when you want to display or log data, or when you want to use the Auto Tune application. Most users flash the bike and then put it in their toolbox or saddlebag until they need it. Unlike FP3 which can only be used on one bike Power Vision can also be used on multiple bikes with the purchase of an additional Tune License, you can license an unlimited amount of bikes.
It was especially for the autotune that it bothers me to put it on the handlebar and to remove it every time I park somewhere for a longer period of time. I allready
bought a new FP3, and hope to have it by Wednesday at the latest. I just feel better about it, is just my preference and habit probably. I used to work with Dynojet
products on my GSXR's and I was quite satisfied with it, the only advantage from the PV for me was that you can alter the mappings on a PC and that this is just
a little easier than on the smartphone.
I also hear nothing but good from your mappings on the PV but unfortunately the distance between us is a bit far

What does knock control on the power vision do? Im taking it as it counts on my spark knocks were detected in each cylinder.
The reason why I ask is, I just tuned my 15 flhxs using TTS Master Tune. After I was done tuning using the tts master tune,I ran some data tune runs to see if if there was any spark knock detected, which no knock was detected.
Even tho I use the TTS for tuning purposes, after im done tuning, I plug the PV back in and use it for the gauges. With the PV in get a 1 knock control in the front cylinder, and 2 in the rear.
Thanks

2007 Ultra.40,000 miles. Indication of running lean. I did a auto tune back in the spring. When air temp was cooler and air was thicker. It helped. Picked up 5 more mpg. Now that the temps are 100 degrees are more. Getting indications of leanness. After I have rode awhile and engine is at operating temp . I shut it down and about 15 to 30 minutes lets say. It does not want to start.Turns over but won't start. I keep trying and finally it fires up. Plugs are burning very white. I have changed the fuel filter 8,000 miles ago. PV temp is running around 265 degrees at highway speed. Stop and go traffic it has got up to 300. I ran a compression test. Got 215 psi. Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks. OLD 96.

It sounds like you may have a battery issue or it is related to starter draw when heat soaked. The first test I would do is test the voltage drop during cranking at the battery, this cannot drop below 9.5 volts or the system will shut down and the motor will just crank. We find about 90% of the time a non-start is battery related.

Wow. Pretty slow here. I have a question about auto tune on PV. When in auto tune mode does it stay in auto tune mode until exited? For example. If I take a leisurely ride one day and do not exit auto tune .Then do a 150 mile 85 miles per hour ride the next day. Will auto tune still be active and will read and store both rides? Thanks.
