I am making a read and write flash memory tool for J2534 devices, I am reverse engineering the process, and using the diagnostic protocol services to build a working flashing routine. It follows the standard readMemoryByAddress for flash read and requestDownload/transfer data for flash write.
I am currently stuck at the seed and key algorithm, which I need to unlock the controller, it is easy to sniff out an ECUs individual seed and key pair, however to universally flash these ECUs you require the security access algorithm.
I was hoping g0tcha may still be active on these forums, would love to have a chat with him. I have seen him post on Reddit as well.
