pinging!!!!!!!!!!!

help! i live in a small town they quit selling premeim fuel . now today i get abreak in the weather to go for a ride i have to get regulal gas. it gets a few miles down the road and starts pinging real bad .try to accelerate it rattles up a storm . i live in the smoky mtns. going up hill is sluggish and pinging never ran reg. fuel ,it always ran great. i have a vance &hines fuel pak &throtle pac s.e. air cleaner supertrap se slipons. no eng light. no codes idles fine any help? thanx

Some guys add an octane booster. I don't know if it'll help you. ...my .02

You'll probably have to add octane boost to your tank. Need to also worry about the amount of ethanol in the gas you get.

Get it tuned better. Timing needs adjusted to take the knock out.

Octane boost not worth a crap

If you know somewhere to get race gas you can mix if needed.
