I'm new to HDs and I don't have a shop manual yet so....
I want to add an auxillary fuse panel that I took off my last bike and put it on my Ultra.
I tapped into a rear brake light hot wire for the switched cable to run the fuse panel.
Which wire can I tap into on this bike?
Thanks for any help...

Not a lot of info here. Basically you can use any 12V wire, including running a lead directly to the Pos.(+) terminal of the battery. You have to make sure the circuit will supply enough current for your aux panel.
If you prefer the brake light switch, the wire is orange and white. and its fused for 15A. Any red and black(ignition) wire will also be fused for 15A.

look under the seat in front of the battery. there are 2 connectors there. 1 connector has 1 wire in it, 10ga or so and that is battery. the other connector has like 3 or 4 wires in it (sorry can't remember) and the accessory power you're looking for is there. Both connectors are grey in color.
So I would be concerned running anything off the brake wire. I don't know what type of fuse block you have and what you want to do with it. But if you want to use the brake wire for a relay that will energize the 10g battery wire that is fine. Tell me a little more about what you will be doing with this and I will try to help you.
This is just a simple drawing. Shows the battery. If you are wanting to feed power to a fuse block power one or more items by a switch then I would do this. Just to protect the rest of the bikes circuit.
Batter + to one side of the relay. "Relay you will buy if not on your circuit board". Fuse block will be attached to the relay. When the key is turned on the brake lights come on which will pull the relay in and power the circuit board. There is a lot of other ways to do this. But this is easiest to explain. Also Solder any joints you make in the harness. Butt splices and other attachments will become faulty over time. If you have a book you should be able to find the switched wire coming from the ignition. I would use that one myself. But if you use the above method the circuit is protected from over current.
yes sir it will. Use a test light to determine which wire in that plug you need to tap into to accomplish your goals. This connection is also on the accessory circuit in the fuse panel so if you pop a fuse, it's just an accessory fuse instead of a brake light/head light fuse. Riding home in the dark with no head light sucks.
