Not sure about 'everything' but I could think of a few things. A voltage regulator, brake light switch, three 15 amp circuit breakers. If you're planning on running turn signals, you'll need a 2 pole flasher (old GM truck variety. electronic flasher if you choose l.e.d.'s) various light fixtures and bulbs, of course, and if you plan on making your own harness, I found a place on ebay that has 14 different colors of wire in 30 foot rolls for something like $70 and another place that has protective tubing

In the Marines, if a vehicle is combat non operational by virtue of failing a limited technical inspection, it was referred to as deadlined. My nickname in the Marines was Deadline, as i could step on a vehicle and cause it to fail an LTI. no way in hell I'm fabricating my own wiring harness.

Hey deadline!,
My sides are splitting. Thanks for the laugh. I'm sure you could do it, but if you would rather not, I did happen across a few harness' while I was working on that aspect. I think you'll want to go with a '73 or '74 harness. (think I saw one for under $100 a while ago) After that it looks like they change alot in the manual. There may be more years you could use, but I'm not sure.

Get a copy of the parts manual! And your own copy of the service manual.

theres no reason why you cant put together your own wiring harness.i am not an electrical guy at all either.use a 16 guage wire.also iwould use the electronic flasher as it flashes immediatly also i used new controls on mine and crossed the horn to the blinker hot wire so i didnot have to snake another wire throughthe bars.---it was a f up on my part that i corrected this way but if i were to do it again it would be the same.
