I know with my twincam that if I over fill the primary, it shifts harder and neutral becomes difficult to find. Some report slip with this, but Id assume it to be more evident with older worn out clutch disks.
And with most tranny to primary oil migration issues, there can be as much, or more than 8oz of lube missing from the tranny. Over the long term, wear is imminent to another wise area where it is almost non existent.

Well feel free to prove they knew it was malfunctioning when they sold it to you. Then go ahead and find a bunch of others that can too, you can all band together then and sue, and explain how put out you were by purchasing a mechanical thing with a fault. And how you deserve reparations for all your trouble. Let us know how it works out.
Wouldn't be to hard to prove, since most of them have the transfer problem, and if you don't have that problem now, you probably will eventually. Hey ! look at it this way, at least the dealer made out, now he can get paid for some repair work.

I second this. I fill to full on changes and it doesn't drop at all between the 5K intervals. I run conventional oil, and have done so since my build.
