I just checked the HD web site on the 12 CVO specs for the Road Glide.

I bought the bike 5 years ago and was relying on memory.

The compression ratio was 9.15 to one. I recalled that the decimal point had 2 digits after it and I thought it was 10.12.

So my 75+ year old brain had a memory failure. But two facts remain. The 12 Road Glide did have 122 ft. lbs. of torque listed on the HD site under the heading PERFORMANCE with a note that it varied depending on the country and that is the most of any other 110 which range from 103 to 115. My Lowrider S is 115 as is the 16 RG CVO Ultra with 9.5:1 compression ratio. So two of the three claims are correct. The 12 out runs the 16 but the 16 is a bit heavier and the 16 Lowrider S out runs all of them.

The statement that my 17 M8 with stage 1 out pulls it is correct. That is the main point of my post.

So I apologize that my memory is not perfect. It is interesting that no one fact checked the 122 ft. lbs. spec. which is more important to performance than compression. It reflects what the engine is capable of.

I'm sure even Greg knows that.

Absolutely beautiful and sexy machine! I love the color scheme. However, I cannot for the life of me ever bring myself to spend that much money on a motorcycle...CVO or not. Even if I wanted to, I just can't. Or at least, not yet LOL.

This is my bike collection in 2014. There are 13 in the pics. It stands at 22 now.

Greg: If you want to see them I can post the individual ones that came after the pictures if you want. My collection stands at 22 now. My apologies to you that I planned my retirement and accomplished the goals that I set. And it must be sad for you not to be able to appreciate what others do in life. Now have a nice day.

Well let me make a couple observations based on some of the things you've posted on this forum.

You've spent your working life saving your money so you could retire, spend your money on a bunch of bikes and spend your days riding them around the country all by yourself because you admittedly don't like riding in groups. Then you spend your evenings sitting in front of a computer (all by yourself) lecturing other people on motorcycle forums about your so called "collection" your exploits and vast technical and HD insider knowledge. 10,000+ posts where you find it imperative to remind everyone that you have more motorcycles than anyone else on earth. I guess that's how you gauge your self worth against the rest of us mere mortals.

That's a sorry *** existence if you ask me. I don't envy you.
