Congrats, you won't regret it. Best scoot that Harley has produced IMHO. You'll be grinning from ear to ear when you pick it up and ride her home. Enjoy.
On second thought... I am already regretting it... Suspension is friggin horrible no matter where I adjust it. Seat needs changing too and that is just the beginning. Not even 100 miles yet and I am kicking myself in the ***. I dont know if it is buyers remorse but I shudder at the thought at having to redo suspension on a new bike. What, another grand there? I feel like a basket case. SMH Motor is sweet though.
Give the shocks around 500 miles to break in. They are brand new. On the other hand it is a harley... Their stock suspensions leave a lot to be desired. Congrats on the new scoot!

Don't use the chart provided in the owners manual, seems like all their setting are way off. I'm 210 lbs and I keep mine set at 3 and I ride solo all the time with minimal stuff in my saddle bags.

I tried it on 5. Hated it. Dont even want to get on it now Don't I think the dealer processed the deal yet with the dmv. I should have rented one first. Hating life at the moment. Hoping dealer will take bike back but not holding my breath. I would off for him.to keep a grand right now to get me out of this. The thought of another grand just to make it ridable for me is what triggered the remorse. Already on Craigslist. Going to take a bath on this one. Sigh. Thanks for listening. Going to be quite embarrassing when/ if I ask dealer.

WHAT!?!? Are you going to try and get the softail back? That sucks I wish you the best.
If you're willing to take a loss of a grand to try and get your bike back, why wouldn't you just invest in better suspension if that is your only issue? Either way, tough choice to make. Wish you the best of luck.

I thought of that but no guarantee I will like it...more money lost. This is all my own fault but does not make me feel any better.
Update for those interested in this soap opera. Much to my embarrassment, I approached sales manager today with my request to roll back deal with my offer to pay compensation. Can't expect them to consider this without me willing to pitch in for their expenses.and such. He listened calmly. Went to office to talk with office personnel and then seemed quite agitated. I think he has anger management issues. Said he needs to check with a higher up. I give it a 60/40 shot. In my favor. Maybe wishful thinking.
