I can't buy into three post and four motors later! And I'm sorry I can't make you happy with I hate this new motor post.Go ride a 117 and see for yourself.
Like yourself I have been riding for a long time.So far this is the best off the showroom bike I have bought.

Hey, I SAID it was amusing. What more do ya want?

I'll tell ya! Try to give somebody a complement and they get all sensitive and defensive... The "Fanboyz VS Trolls" posts are what keep these discussions lively!

Apology accepted, but certainly not necessary.

Ride safe,

JP

No interest in paying to be a beta-tester for the ol' MoCo, Bro.

I'm happy with what I've got.

Best wishes, and hang in there,

JP

Just my 2 cents...I am the guy who can pretty much make my bike sump on will...with that being said...I can also ride it all day without it happening...Did a trip to WV last summer and put over 5k miles on it without it sumping...As long as I dont push the bike hard and keep it over 5k rpms for a minute while I am running someone, it has not sumped once...I can run it hard and get it over 5k rpms while running through the gears, and it is just fine....Just cant keep it there for longer than just running through the gears...and yes I have had 3 top ends in my bike...2 motors...and they actually gave me a different bike after they couldnt fix the first one....hopefully this will help some of those looking for information....NOTE...this is just my experience

I’ve been lurking this thread worried about sumping on our two 114s. I can’t think of an instance where I would or want to stay over 5krpms for over a minute besides a track.

Always amazes me that everyone who has never had a given issue on their bike thinks that everyone who did have it is exaggerating and that everyone who did have the issue thinks that everyone's bike is about to die.

That said I have a 2018 CVO Limited sitting at my dealer waiting for good weather. I truly hope I get be in the first group!

Yup, and yup. There's no way in hell I'm simultaneously beta testing a M8 motor AND testing the honesty of their "warranty".

No. Way. In. Hell.

My '15 will do just fine, thankyouverymuch.
