What do you think about the limited Mayhem paint sets for the touring line release date Dec 2019? I like them , I'm sure that recent CVO owners are not too pleased.
7 large might seem steep but you get all new tins along with a killer paint job. I don't buy into the theory that limited number paint sets add resale value but that is not why we throw money at our machines.
and that 7 grand does not include a painted inner fairing or fairing lowers either. add those and you'll be up around $10,000.
no thanks. while i loved my cvo, i learned my lesson. anytime you need a painted part, you may as well take out a second mortgage, and then wait for 6-8 weeks for it to arrive. no, my new bike is vivid black, and if i need something, it's cheaper and quicker to get.
At least around here, the dealers require your stock tins as trade in. For 7k Id think you could get a killer paint job that is a true one off custom
Seeing as how you can get a quality paint job on a car for around the same price, I imagine that $7k comes with a beautiful blonde woman to sit on the back whilst you ride?
But yes, at least here in WI, if I dropped off my bike and wanted it to go from the stock black to *insert wild color here* I'd be looking at well below $4k to completely paint the bike.
