I already have the SE tuner, intake and slip-ons, it's an extra $400 to put in on the Dyno. At first he tried telling me they had to take the top end off until I called him out on that since I know that they don't. Making me want to say screw it and go completely aftermarket, I'm almost up on the warranty anyways.
I just did the SE447 last month because I am only 9 months into my warranty.... If I was near the end of my warranty I'd go aftermarket no questions asked, no stumbling, that's just what I'd do....better performance for your money and way more options.
I may get bashed for this, but if you go with the SE447 cam, just use the canned SE stage 2 download and do a couple auto tunes. You may not even need that $400 dyno run. I say that as you're very limited with EPA limits with a dealer Dyno run. My bike runs awesome with just the canned stage 2 tune after a couple auto tune sessions. I sure as hell personally would not expect having a dealer run an EPA complient $400 dyno run would significantly provide a boost in performance. Now, a non EPA compliant dyno tune, hell yeah that would give a boost in performance.

Yeah but that's the thing, I'm happy with the performance it already has but I think a cam will open it up quite a bit. If I go aftermarket I'll probably wind up replacing everything, full exhaust, tuner, intake, cam kit, cam block and oil pump which I don't really want to cough up the funds for that right now.

yeah, he was most likely thinking just adding cam and using the OEM pushrods

Just do the SE8-447 you'll be very happy with it , don't waste your $$ on the dealership dyno just have them load a stage 2 tune! Then after warranty you can change tunner and exaust.
The SE8-447 runs top through all RPM range very happy with that choice even though I'm after market on everything else no regreats.
