I hated the SE HI Flo (Wedge) on our 2017s..the open forward facing portion got clogged with so much airborne contaminants and got black too quickly so need more frequent servicing (at least they updated the breather tubes which helped from residue dripping down)..I only chose it for the partial protection of not requiring a rain sock. FF to wife's 2020 with Ventilator. Pros: slim profile. Cons: needs rain sock at times. don't particularly care for the oval shape as it doesn't seem like it lends itself to allow air coming in from the entire surface, which doesn't make sense to me anyway.
what I ended up liking best, and we've used about all of the SE ACs, was the round one with the Bobber style round cover....it provided more protection from the elements so didn't need a rain sock or get dirty and need servicing very often..it also didn't drip hardly at all and allow for that to blow back on the bike....obviously any of them allow enough air to support a performance cam
Stock, stage 1 or stage 2. No matter. I run them on both the bike and the wifes Freewheeler. Both 2019s with 114s. Put them on the week we got them. Now I have a stage 2 and she has a full stage 1. Still same air cleaners. Love the look. And they let a bunch of air in like they're supposed to.

This is my issue, the front gets plugged and the top and bottom don't even get dirty. I have 2 filter elements and I swap them out frequently.

My wifes new Heritage came with one from the factory which is what got me thinking this direction.

I took the ventilator off my 21 Heritage, didn't think it fit the style. Put it on my 20 RGL and put the FM AC/DC from RGL on the Heritage with round bobber cover. Both bikes are happy.

Funny you mention that because I thought about doing that too. Ha! Hers is chrome though, and I need black.
