Well, I wouldn't call .004 pinion run out "nice" but unfortunately it's "acceptable" nowadays. My 2021 RGS was .004 also and I was pissed. Shop agreed but again that is how it is. Said they have had brand new bikes showing .007. Curious, did you check the left side shaft also?

Agreed, but "nice" as in on the low side of HD's max of .012, and within Feuling's, S&S oil pump/cam plate recommendations. I do have the Star Racing comp ramp to install, so I'll check the left side shaft once I get there. If it's too far out, I have S&S and SE oil pump/cam plate kit options on hand to pair with a Darkhorse flywheel from a couple of other owners whose projects were canceled by their significant others... I don't want to get too crazy with the shark though, if I don't have to, because I may use the Darkhorse flywheel for a "bigger bore" Softail if I don't sell it, but that'll be a different thread.

Was about to say. In a world where .010-.012 is now the new normal, .004 is excellent. I don't think I've seen one with less that wasn't first touched/adjusted by a professional...
