Man I installed the deluxe cooler and you need 4 hands to install that sucker. I should have paid somebody to install it for me. Looks nice though.....

Mine was a cinch, but its a touring model. Must be different. One snag was the 7/16" Allen adapter for the filter, which of course I didn't have, nor do most stores that sell tools.

I plan on installing the HD cooler this weekend, any tips you can give me? And what's the 7/16" allen adapter?

It's a rather simple install, except the Allen fitting that holds the filter adapter in place and screws into the filter. This requires an 11mm or 7/16" Allen wrench or socket, which almost nobody owns and few stores carry. A friend had one and bailed me out late one night, but I figured out a simple substitute. Go to Home Depot and buy a threaded rod coupler that has a 7/16" OD. This will be a hex shape and will fit inside the cooler adapter just as well as an Allen wrench. Just insert it, then place a 7/16" socket on the other end to ratchet it in place.
Sleepneagle said it's in the HD Allen socket set, but I don't see any HD tool set that has an Allen wrench this big included. My standard tool kit for the SG doesn't have it either.
Ditto on what iclick said...

This is what I just got finished using to install mine...

Update, after using it during daytona found that it lowers temps about 20 degrees. My bike would run about 20 degrees hotter than my buddies night train, now there dead even. This would work better on a bike without the wide front fender, it really doesnt get any direct airflow, but the drafts hitting it is better than nothing....
