Default SW-Motech Order

Just FYI for other folks that may have ordered something from SW-Motech.

I ordered some items from SW-Motech on 2/9/22 & 3/7/22. At the time of my orders their website stated a 4-5 week delivery time from Germany. I received an email from SW-Motech today indicating the following.
We are reaching out to update you on your recent order containing parts coming from Germany. The airfreight shipment was mis-delivered to a business in Canada, and our logistics partner is working on getting it redelivered to our warehouse. Although we are hopeful it will arrive soon, because it is not in the U.S. we don’t have a firm ETA to provide you at this time.

Again, just FYI for other folks that may have ordered something from SW-Motech and may have been impacted by this.

Sorry about your troubles. My orders from them were flawless. Ordered nets for my hard bag lids. Came just fine. Ordered waterproof liners to take in and out of hard bags, came just fine.

Someone from SW-Motech did contact me indicating they would do everything possible to ship the products (heel guard, brake cylinder guard, brake fluid reservoir guard & gear lever) that I ordered on 2/9/22 as soon as possible. The product that I ordered on 3/7 (extension for brake pedal) shipped and is expected to arrive early next week.

So far the folks at SW-Motech have been good to deal with. As we all know, sometimes crap just happens. :-)

I put my order in on the 3/17. I was hoping for 5 weeks, maybe I should change my expectations. Thanks for the info.

Just an FYI, they list whether the parts that will ship from Germany or the US. I've ordered several items from them and never had an issue and yes some from Germany.

Just FYI. The folks at SW-Motech did what they told me they would do. I have a bike trip planned next week and they told me they would do everything they could to send me the items that were accidently sent to Canada before my trip. They shipped them 2nd day air and I should receive them tomorrow. I have to give SW-Motech credit for their customer service, they did what they told me they were going to do. I have no issues continuing to order products from them.
