Default The new ST Version
As a short rider, I’m curious to see how much lower the seating is on this model. It’s kinda something I’d been waiting for, a more street oriented version.

I can see a demo ride, or ten, come spring time!

Only vid i've seen on youtube with an up close look at the ST, though at times it gets a little more focused on the commercial shoot of the bike. Still, more information in there that was great.

The website provides seat hight for the Pan America Special, but not the Pan America ST. Curious to know how much lower.

Looks and sounds like a good idea for those who have no intention of taking it off road.

17" wheels should lower it some

An inch lower, between the smaller front wheel size and the loss of 0.75" of rear travel, and changes to the seat, according to this article:

The ST is a claimed 31.7 inches seat height, a full inch lower than the Special. And ARH appears to be standard.

After market exhaust and it is not a bad proposition for an upright sport bike.

Next step for H-D - Remove the fairing, change the headlight, put the 975 in it, tweak the ecu, raise the front fender and sell a supermoto.

Lowered seat hight almost 2 inches, 1.7" to be exact. That should help, along with a narrower seat will help. Should prove to be a fun bike.

And maybe another inch beyond that with the adaptive ride height set to maximum drop when stopped.
