It was a bit of a balancing act with that mousetrap, the new clutch and the starter system change things just enough it tossed the usual adjustment procedure out the window. It was trial & error and a good bit of cussing to find the happy spot with it. Juries still out but we'll see.
Current state of affairs on the Pan. Nothing done since Twitzted left on Friday plus the rain wind and cold are not condusive to getting things done. I've asked Twitzed to check some of my motor work prior to starting (ain't too proud to beg as the song goes) the bike. Absent that the left tank is on and in theory all it needs is gas and oil. Just need to make sure it is afternoon. Straight pipes (even with baffles) do not a quiet sound make.

Taking the opportunity to pimp my mean green dolly a bit it but does make playing with these so much easier. First start for the pan, boom instant on first try, that trick E start he has is sweet I’m liking it. Dave of course is a bit of a happy camper but nailed this nicely 😁 Got a few items to tweak a bit but normal with aftermarket stuff, that’s my contribution to this build. Soon as I figure out how to do a Video clip we’ll be adding it.
That said Thanks you Dan (Twisted Biker in the video) for your help on the final touches. I was stunned, to say the least, that it started so easily. And a big thanks to all who have followed this thread and for the comments, guidance, and help to get this bike to its current state. Couple small things still to do, but it is definitely nice to hear the bike run.
Dan will be back tomorrow. Getting the wheels on the ground is getting a lot closer.

To give credit where do this is all Dave, it's his attention to detail and obvious skill that got it there, bang first roll over no grind or screwing with anything, pretty sure it's going to kickover the same way. I'm just a second set of eyes in this with a little input for the usual games aftermarket stuff brings. Bit of an accident I got involved as it was, he put a couple wheels up on Facebook in a group I help moderate and I jumped on them, things have taken a life of their own since, feel a bit honored to get to help at this stage and I'd be lying through my teeth to say I'm not having fun. Honestly I've been far to idle with my bikes and old habits, this has lit the fires again.
Panz is solid people. Now the weathers acting right gives me an excuse to put some miles on the RK again, nice ride to his place and he has some other interesting projects I might talk him into letting me get involved with. Learn something, I have zero background with sidehacks.
Note to self....Always remember that Blue Loctite is your friend. Always remember to properly torque the clutch hub nut.. Lessoned learn yesterday when the hub came loose during one of the heat cycles. Fortunately it was up on Dan's stand and not on the road. It is nice having a second set of eyes and ears along with Dan's attention to detail.
And a pic of the bike as the sun was setting yesterday. Air cleaner cover back on. Right gas tank on a spaced property (really helps having a second set of hands). The House of Color paint (Apple Red) really shines.
