Default hlp with throttle cable on switch cover

I am attempting to install chrome switch covers on my 2006 hd roadking custom. I removed the stock cover on the throttle side and one of the throttle cables popped right out. The other however is in the cover. Can someone tell me how this cable is pulled through and then reinsterted into the new cover (both of them). ????

thanks!!!!!!

You will find a small spring around the cable end housing. You can't see it them when it is installed in the housing. If you apply enough force to the cable end from inside of the housing pushing it outward, and possible wiggle the cable a bit, it should pop out of the housing. If you can get a thin blade screwdriver between the housing and the seat on the cable on the underside of the housing (outside housing), applying some pressure here will usually pop the cable out.To reinstall the cable into the new housing, just push it in until to clicks and locks in.
