I just got home from putting in a 13 hour day at work
First time I have done that in over 10 years
Of course, three hours of that was sitting on 2 - 1 1/2 hr boat cruises
So that was nice.

We got in some wind therapy today....but of a different type.
She wanted to wear shorts today. Since the winds were crazy strong, and since we missed the Jeepers Creepers event yesterday, due to rain, we opted for the Jeep.
Lots of bikes at the Psycho Silo Saloon today.
The band, Free Beer and Chicken, was pretty good.
Future me.
The place has lots of character and for that matter, characters...lol.
I was missing my bike a bit.
But we had a good time in Rubi....despite the difference in mpg's. It never hit 80 degrees today.

After working out, mowing 2 lawns, and doing 4 loads of laundry....it was ride time.
The weather was perfect.
Everytime I go past this old building, I'm shocked it's still standing.
At 5:30pm I took an hour and a half break, to watch my granddaughter play softball. She did great, got the game ball, and her team won 11-0. She's pitching
Since the Rock River was nearby, i had to take a sunset ride down river. Almost zero traffic, all the way home, which was awesome again.
I was gone for 7 hours. Retired life doesn't suck.

Went out to enjoy from freedom today.
Stopped for cheaper, corn free, gas in Wisconsin.
Stopped for some dinner too.
It was a beautiful day.
I passed a freshly paved county road, so I turned around and enjoyed the 10 miles of fresh empty road.

Pit stop on the way home.
Beautiful sunset....but it came too early...8:30pm.
Awesome day.

It was 87 today, but not overly humid. May or may storm all day tomorrow....they can't make up their mind, so I couldn't miss out on today's weather.

Another absolutely gorgeous day.
First stop, Utica.
First purchase, wine.
Second purchase, lunch, in Ottawa.
We wandered up and down the Illinois River, then shot over to Iowa, where we stopped at another winery, just north of LeClair.
She was very happy today.
I was chilling.....
....while she was spending.
Just over 9 hours today. It was a great day.....except for when the Cardinal flew in front of us and was disintegrated.
