I know it is winter in some places but dang this forum seems kind of dead to me. Nobody getting out and riding? No ride reports. Anyone planning any rides for next year. I enjoy seeing ride reports and people planning rides. I am currently putting together a proposed ride for next year for a friend and I. I have been to all the places, but my friend has not. He has been with me to Sturgis and CO. Sturgis, Cody, Beartooth, Yellowstone, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Monument Valley, Moab, Million Dollar Hwy and home. Camping part of the way.
Yeah I'm tinkering with next year's trips. Would like to get up to Canada but sounds like the border will be closed. May head back to Colorado and Utah. Maybe out to West Virginia too..
This section of the forum tends to die off this time of year. Right at the time we need it the most!
My Ol' Lady (rides her own), my Brother, his Ol' Lady (passenger), & I are riding to Yellowstone late June.
We've got our rooms reserved in West Yellowstone already.
Starting in Boise, ID & riding to Mt. Home, then jumping on Hwy 20 (26 joins it), then through Craters of the Moon, & up to West Yellowstone.
Couple of days in Yellowstone, then the rest of the trip is unplanned.
I believe my Brother wants to hit Cody so we'll probably do that.
Then we'll work our way back towards home.
Looks like Lolo Pass (Hwy 12) will probably be on the list of the way home.
It's not much but it's what I've got so far.
My Brother & I are also planning a camping trip for next year but we don't do much planning for those.
I'll include a couple of pics from our last trip from this year. Gold King is mine Sleeping situation Dinner cooking Lake nearby Some pine growing. Thought the color on the new cones was kinda cool.
Great pictures, they really are clear. I love the Yellowstone area. Now that is real camping. The virus sucks. It really bad when on a bike and only the drive thru's are open.
A few pics of our trip to CO this summer.
