Dead battery
The local dealer cant find the problem... they went so far as to tell me Thats the way they are ... you have to keep it on a battery tender
Sorry but I cant except that Ive owned plenty of motorcycles, cars , trucks , law movers ... well you get the idea
As a result of that , the local Perth Western Australia dealer has fitted to ALL new bikes sold a "Battery fighter Junior" brand tender ( We are a 240 Volt country here mind !)
Why ? They were dead sick of replacing batteries "under warranty" as even 4 weeks was proving too much and the dreaded " click clickity click" would occur. MUCHO customer gripes as a result !
I had always fitted tenders of that brand myself since the early 2000's , and have had new batteries last 7 years. Put a new genuine HD battery into my 2008 CVO Springer in 2011 , still good today.
Tender is on soon as the exhaust has cooled enough to allow plug in as the connector is on that side , easier to get to than on the primary side.
Or are you driving it regularly and the battery still discharges?
It would be interesting if you could totally disconnect (or remove) the battery from your bike, make sure that it is fully charged and then let if sit for 3-4 days.
If it retains it's charge, then it would be obvious that the problem is with a "drain" originating from the bike.
If you're riding the bike regularly and the battery continues discharging your could either have that "drain" or it is possible that either your stator is not charging or your voltage regulator isn't working properly.
Usually, the battery is the culprit but since you say that the battery has been replaced twice and the problem still persists, an electrical check of both the voltage regulator and the stator should be your first propriety in diagnosing the problem.
