2011 CVO Streetglide has bad ipod. Harley says see Apple. Apple says see Harley. Everyones clueless. May 13 2013 my warranty expires. Is my ipod nano under a 2 year warranty? No one knows that either. Could be much bigger problems but would like to get this dealt with. Anyone know anything?
Bad news, I just called my local dealer Monday about my Ipod and Tuesday I drove up and swapped it out for a new Ipod no questions asked. Tell your dealer to stop the BS or find a new dealer.
Well, I hooked the I-pod up to my computer and downloaded 311 songs to it. Hooked it up to the scoot and nothing, nada, zilch. Hooked it back to my pc and the songs were there and they played. When you try to find them on the I-pod, different story. No music found. Went to Harley dealer and had the scoot checked. Their I-pod played just fine. I came home and formated the I-pod. I downloaded I-tunes to my pc. Went to the downloads and restored all the factory files to the I-pod. Then reloaded all the music. Works like a charm...Ta-Da!
I have a bad IPod.
I can load music to it but when it is connected it will not play anything.
I suggest you try a different IPod to make sure it is the IPod.
Surely you know someone that has one you can try.
Have you checked with ear phones?
Another note, take it to a Apple dealer that does warranty and have them check it.
