one of 2 things they were to cheap to have it machined and the cost of the angle piece - or they realized they never needed it in the first place
scrape out the silicone off the countershaft end and re do it with new - we use the right stuff - I know it did not leak I can see that - but do it now or after you ride it the first day and find out it does want to leak with the old glue

Thanks John. Again for your straight no BS knowledge....... I did dig all the silicone out and clean it up well re silicone . Use the black most times but had a bunch of high temp.Hell looking at it now should have pulled trans and tossed it on bench...but afraid I would pull motor....not doing that not doing that. Lmao... Got carried away and painted back half of frame. Been kinda busy with Laconia coming everybody in a rush.....next week I’ll get the old black dog back up and running. Thanks again

WOW you can REALLY see the paint difference between the front and the back kind of like peeing on your zipper at a wedding
Lmfao...you bastard.....Ill give it a make over in winter and try for a slightly correct version......... than Ill bend your ear to get it close to correct.NOT PULLING MOTOR. NOT PULLING MOTOR....
I cant believe your going to leave the house l;ooking like that - with a half baked excuse about some time down the road with >
only 7 bolts that gets it all out of the way so the back side of the straight leg tubs will not feel left out in the cold
oh the horror of it all looking down and seeing the exhaust pipe between the gorgeous floor board - then the entire different shade of color -
with that over spray NO ONE is going to see it well some of us know but we - wont - forgive you
not working. I have ridden worse and that poor evo has been apart almost 2 years......winter is coming. Year is half over....lmao. Beside remember. No boards on this S model and I have no parts to do that...YET....Ill just have to ride it down some dirt roads....frame will blend in perfectly . Buddy already wanted to take tins too his body shop and paint...yep NO! They would disappear till fall. Plus its got wrong rear fender
Some one borrowed my inner trans seal driver....so time to make a new one. Walked over to lathe. Grabbed a piece of a race kart axle 1 1/4..... ready to chuck it in a collet. Looked over and what do you know. One of my junk 1 inch 5 C collets fits the trans shaft perfect. Nice seal driver . So if you need one look at the junk tools at your local swap meet. I have a sleeve that just screws in the end of this. Either end works....I have seen these rusty at swap meets for pennies. I make all my special tools......mo fun....well at least for my own stuff. John do you put silicone in the slots before you put the nut on?
