No...that's just it............I don't have a key fob because I don't have the security, just the light, apparently.

How much time did you spend removing the old and installing the RR?
Thank you! The old one took but minutes to come off. I am a very slow worked with this stuff because I'm new to wrenching. I ran into an issue with the header pipe pressing up against the rear brake pedal so It added extra time to figure that out (with help from the forum here). So for me it was a few hours. Having done it before now, if I had to do it again it would be an hour and done.

Make sure you use the tapered (crush) gaskets and you may need to adjust your brake pedal a bit.

Great pic. What did you use to do that border around it?

So you don't have the proximity FOB? You have to use a key? I thought they came standard with the security system. They don't come standard with a siren. Just flashy lights.

I only have a key. No fob at all.

I stand corrected. My dealer must order them that way to force the upgrade if you buy from them

Since I cut my baffle out, I've been very happy with the sound, but I decided to try a lollipop in my muffler to see what difference it makes.

I started with some simple parts from Home Depot. Total cost under $4.00.

The parts assembled:

After about 50 miles on this setup, I like it. It's a little quieter than with out the baffle, but it still has the low thunder sound that I enjoyed after removing the baffle.

I'll try and get a sound clip later.

Many thanks for your feedback on gutting the OEM exhaust.

I was hesitant to do it because I couldn't find anyone else who had done it. Its certainly worth doing 100% improvement over the stock sound. You don't need the lollipops, but I'm a tinkerer. I'm always taking things apart.

At this point I'm not even thinking about buying an aftermarket exhaust.

Very creative. Always good to save money where you can.
