It should be the connector for the front wheel speed sensor. If it became disconnected I guess it would cause the ABS & Linked braking to revert to standard braking.

Thanks for the clarification ..... Also, if it became disconnected, the ABS light would be on solid while riding ....

By looking at the picture, is that Wheel Speed Sensor Connector supposed to slide onto and lock into the Brake Line retainer instead of just hanging there?
