First off, that is one sexy ride. One might say, she's well-built

I've added ODC to my list and will give it a serious consideration. Thank you for your reply b!

I went with Hagon Nitro 13" and bought Bitubo 13" for my wife's bike. There is an Ohlins option that Howard sells in this price range, but it does not have rebound adjustment. For bang for the buck, the wife and I are quite happy with the shocks we're running.

Yes! Thanks B! I will add these to my list and give them a serious look. I'm all for bang for the buck (gotta pay them bills).

Thank you for your reply!

another vote for odc piggys...

they have nice trackers available too.. but, they are on the higher end of the "affordability" scale. the racetechs might be a better bet if trying to keep the cost down.

Wanted to know what weight and height those shocks are for.

Thanks!
Sorry for the delayed response(sometimes even old people get busy)
I bought these in 2010 & from memory they are 13.3"(340mm) & set up for a combined rider/passenger weight of 340lbs(my old brain is struggling to be certain)they where on my FXD for only a few weeks, about 1K miles & I removed them when I traded the bike in 2010/11.
They are fairly adjustable(damping & rebound),so even when I had a couple of solo rides(180lbs)they worked well, the've been in the cupboard in our friends house since, but I think they're still there!!.

Just a general reply to your original post,i'm not a suspension expert, but I would recommend you look at Hagon,a proper small british company & the shocks are made in house in there own machine shop & they've been at it a loooong time.

Hello All,

Very late, but figured I'd add this for anyone ever reading this thread in the future. I ended up going with 14" with shocks from Racing Bros (description link: https://www.racingbros.com/en/products/detail/16) . Got them for about $750 shipped, not sure how good of a deal, BUT I must say the level of performance adjustability is incredible. Shocks with same performance from ohlins would be closer to $1600. I am very happy with them, and would recommend to anyone looking for high performance shocks (consider getting 13", might be better for high speed stability.)
