Hey all .. new issue ( kinda) ... I got a new BCM put in my bike 2011 Fatboy
here in Thailand

part # 41000349A which is the current model

dealership put it in all good but now my ignition does nothing can be on /off/accessory .... hit the run switch and all the lights come on ..

still wont start but that seems to completely take the ability to lock the ignition so someone doesnt turn on the bike and drain the battery


the dealership told me its a 2017 model and thats why it bypasses the ignition (BCM works a different way )

im waiting on a response from the Harley company but has anyone else had this issue ?

I realize the part has only been out for like 3 weeks now .. but

 

Just for information purposes ... Called the main harley number ... their tech got on and informed me that the local tech forgot to check a box .. all new BCM's come in the keyless position ( basically bypasses the main switch incase you want to remove it ) ... the BCM needs to be set to key to make the main switch work
