Glad I got my 17 Deluxe before ... the 18 came out
I wanted the cruse and it only came on 16 & 17 models.
Don't get me wrong I would love to have an M8.
But without the maintenance head aches & FUGLY...
Who was smoking what when they totally screwed the tombstone tail light with those buzz light year blinkers (sorry it early and the first thing that came to mind).

you and me both, I bought a 2017 and I knew I was rolling the dice when I did. They literally butchered the deluxe and heritage, I don't know what they were thinking, but they ruined them in my opinion. I think the value of the pre-2018 softails will skyrocket. I'm truly disappointed at this point.

I agree. Totally wrong combination! Harley needs to decide which bike, Deluxe or Heritage is supposed to look old style. Put the tombstone tail light, cats eye dash, half moon boards, and round blinkers on it.
