Default Quick question on forward controls swap from floorboards-2014 slim

I decided to go to Forward controls as comfort and options for floorboards are just too limited for me.

Bought front brackets already and wondering if I can use my existing floorboards brake pedals/shifter to transition to forward controls?

I am sure someone already dis that. I will hate to spend money on something I already have on my Slim

Anyone? Please help me out here. I look at this set up and looks like new brake pedal is rather needed but while shifter looks different I got the feeling stock one might somhow make it into forward controls set up. Linkage bracket that shifter is mounted into will probably work somehow as well.

will greatly appreciate some comments from someone that has forward controls.

These are the exact parts you NEED to make the swap.

I have a 13 Fatboy and converted it to forward controls. Nothing from the old setup will work. I bought the conversion kit from HD, and it had everything you need except the pedal pad, the shifter pad, and the footpegs.

Big thanks. I canceled my bracketspurchase as piecing it together was not worth the effort dinancially and time wise. Came up to approx 250$ everything used in good shape vs 300 new from dealer. I think I will go your way

Put the kit part number into surdyke.com... I believe their price was around the $250 mark for the complete kit if I remember correctly.

surdyke is 275$. After further examination I feel maybe I should go with 2" over kit. I am not that tall 5'9" but I like to stretch a lot I guess. Today I sat on my old sporty that I dialed down really good as far as comfort and there was plenty more space with standard forward controls and cut out foam in my seat. I have long way to adjust this Slim I guess.

Now I wonder with which forward controls I should go....again

Will this kit fit my 2014 Slim if fitment is described as per below?

Yes, you can make this work. You will still need the remaining controls tho.
