Glad it is all fixed......!
Did the dealer say you had a bad engine temp sensor, and they believe that was the culprit....??
I'm just curious, because the fact that you needed a new voltage regulator and stator, could have been the problem too.... I know that on any vehicle that uses electronics/computers to run, like HD EFI bikes, when the voltage gets shaky, all sorts of things go crazy....
Anyways... now you get to just ride.... And that's the point of it all....

The work was done at my indy... when the bike started throwing the battery light (after replacing engine temp sensor) is when they found the stator & voltage regulator problem.
I have now put well over 100 miles on with no idle issues!

Do you know HD replacement stator/regulator were used? or did they use
something better - like from Cycle Electric ?
