Default 40 mph studder?

Something I've been wondering if anyone else experiences. At about 39-42 mph no matter if I'm in 3rd or 4th I get a bit of a studder...I can even feel it in turns. Only at that speed though I have no problems at any other speed.

I've checked tire pressure becauseI actually get a small wobble on a particular road with some sweeping curves (that could just be the road?).

Nothing? Sort of feels like an unbalanced wheel in your car.

Guess I'll just have them check it when I take it in for the next oil change.

Unbalanced wheel just at those speeds? Or at other speeds also?

This may sound stupid, but it worked for me. I had noted about the same feeling with my ride. I also would check the tire pressure cold and found it to be alright. It was suggested to me to try running 40lbs COLD in both tires and try that. I did and the studder left. May bot help your situation at all, but it worked for me. Also, and you prolly know this already, but if the primary chain is out of adjustment, it can give you the same feeling.
Good luck, let us know what you find out.

Hmmm... I run at the recommeded pressure in the manual I double checked the spokes too. The more I think about itdefinatelyfeels mostly like an unbalanced like wobble in the front wheel. Never would have thought about the primary chain....

I'm waiting for the bike to cool off to check the tires.

BlueRose, did you ever found out what the issue was. I'm getting the same thing. On turns around the speeds you mention I get this small high freq tone/vibration feeling on the handlebars when I turn.

Checking tires first, then inspecting tires for any flat spots, then I'm thinking a balance weight came off and tire is unbalanced?

Suspension issue?

Primary chain?

Looking forward to any responses.
