Default For reflectors

I've been turning my 2005 Heritage to all black/chrome and would like to change the front fork reflectors from yellow/orange to white. I purchased 2 types from Amazon. One set had the backing that conformed to the to the curvature of the fork but it was not reflective AT ALL. The second set purchased were actually saddlebag reflector inserts but they had a flat backing.

Does anyone have any idea where I could get a set of white reflectors? I do not want to just "take them off". The more visible I am to the cage drivers, the better.

How about retro-reflective tape or sign material? It comes in many colours.

My opinion for what it’s worth I just took mine off. I drive a big Red long hood semi truck with a lot of chrome and lights all over it and I’ve still had a idiot caged run into the side of me and believe it or not they still used the “I didn’t see him” card. Until police start enforcing traffic laws like they use to “back in the day” . Cagers will keep running people over and say “oops”

Go to your local Home Depot and buy some truck reflective tape, it’s in the sign department. Get the white one and cut it to size.

My opinion is those reflectors down the tube don't really offer much. Maybe a nighttime situation where someone is heading your general direction broadside? I'm pretty sure once you take that plunge into chrome lowers, you're not going to want to cover up all that shine with an ugly reflector. <----- This comment is not to disrespect your vow for safety, but merely the opinion of my own. I run full Custom Dynamic LED's, all the way around, she is bright. Good luck in your chrome adventures, be prepared to spend countless hours cleaning. LOL.

Check out his other videos, especially the ones on dishwashers and their pods, hvac units, lava lamps, and mechanical memory in juke boxes. Sorry I'll stop hijacking the thread.
