Just wanted to update this thread. Could never get a straight answer from my dealer on the international model tssm. I went ahead and found a used one on ebay that I'm gonna try. Risky I know but it comes with a fob and 60 day warranty so hoping for the best. In the meantime I was playing around with one of those little immobilizer things off amazon that you plug in to the ignition fuse slot. Word to the wise, stay away from the 2.4ghz model. It may have the longer range but a cell phone in your pocket will cause all sorts of interference. I'll update again when the factory tssm gets here If I can get it to work.

That would be some of the MOST helpful information for folks who are stuck just like you. Let us know! PLEASE!!!!
I just reread my last message and I'm sorry for the confusion. I did not order the hdi one on ebay, I went with a used 68923-00D. If I was going to get the hdi one I would have bought it used from the dealer. This one I just bought on ebay included the fob and it worked just fine. Changing the password was a breeze and I have that all set up. Fellas I'm 98% sure you will have no problems with the hdi tssm if you want go the new route. Just keep 2 things in mind. 1. you will NOT be able to disable auto arm (which was the deal breaker for me) and 2. you will have to get a hdi fob that matches the frequency. As long as you do that you'll be fine. Thanks and sorry again for the misunderstanding
Unable to use international version at my local dealer in Texas
I took my bike to the dealership nearest me in Texas to get a new key fob associated with my 04 Harley Softail HD today. (When I bought it, it didn't come with the FOB so I could never crank it) The dealership told me they couldn't do anything with my bike because it had the international version TSSM installed, and their tool didn't have the proper harness to connect to the international version to reprogram it. They said there are NO available modules in the Harley network for my bike. I got the part numbers from them to search Ebay and came up with one. The part numbers they gave me that would work with my bike were 68925-00D and 68921-01D. I only found ONE of the 68921-01D on Ebay used. Looks like I will be using a third-party solution if this one ever craps itself.
