slick handgrips

Smooth and slick handrips on my ride. Anyone tried to increase the grip with a simple spray or application. Mine are large in diameter meaning no tape or adds to increase the grip size. Is there a way to increase grip on the rubber grip so that I dont have to GRIP him. thanks

Get you a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser Sponge and a little water and scuff the hand grips. It should remove any slickness on the grips.

aaargh....I put new ones on my former heritage. this newer F has nice grips, but they have gotten slick......and yes, if I cant improve, will replace. Just retarded and tight.....and lazy.

Ya know, at times things actually work. Thanks to CoolBreeze, I tried the magic, after the wife found a piece for me. I did use 409 and some action. After it dried, the grips were actually grippy!!!! Cant say thanks enough. If this is short lived, I am fine, easy fix for the moment Have not ridden it yet, but sure do like the fact that there is enough grip that I dont have to use the hands into a numb nut. This should help, thanks again.
