I've got an "07" Fat Boy and I'm thinking of putting a new custom seat on it. I'm looking for some feed back on what custom seats you guys are riding on and the pros & cons to each of the seats that are available.
I ride a Russell day long seat. I tried several and this is the most comfortable by far. Here is a link to their web site so you can get more info.http://www.day-long.com/p.s. I do not work for this company nor am I paid by them in any way. I am just a very happy customer.
There are a lot of threads here regarding replacement seats, so be sure to use the search function to research prior responses...
You'll find a number of them regarding my selections... I've got the same Fat Boy and chose to go with the Solo and Sport Tour C&C Seats - I'm extremely happy with the appearance and comfort for shorter trips, but they certainly wouldn't be appropriate selections for long-range trips. You'll need to specify what your riding requirements are so that you can receive the proper feedback.
I have the saddleman tattoo profileer. It has gel in the passenger area, this is mainly a single seat rider. Its pretty comfortable and has decent back support. C&C seats are another choice. Heard some good things from them as well.
I ride on a Danny Gray Weekday 2up with Gel and I couldn't be happier with it. My buddy has a C&C 2up and it's awsome too. The C&C is a little harder I think, but they are both great. I think the price is nice with C&C too. My Danny Gray is worth every penny though.

When I saw the this thread I was going to suggest he send you a pm as you have the same bike and I new you had a couple of diff. seats [8D]
Yeah Paul - that brought some 'memories' (haven't had mine all that long, so they aren't ancient memories) rushing back and gave me a chance to step back and look at how far mine has come (relatively speaking, of course).
I went with the Corbin Gunfighter because I wanted a rider's backrest.
I love the look and it sits you about and an inch or so lower.
Corbin comfort, but it fells hard, comfy but hard, no numb butt.
I love the stiching detail of it too.
It follows the lines of the bike well too.
Somebody could ride on the back around town anyway.
Maybe that was too much info, or too many pictures, uh?
