Looks great. Were they easy to install? I put the skull one on to my bike last spring. It wasa bit of a trick with the size of my meathooks, but I managed it. I've read of problems with the LEDs burning out or fritzing after sitting in cold weather. I'm hoping mine it still working 100% when I pull the bike out in a couple of weeks. The flush mounts are much more subtle than the skull ones. Very nice.
The tank caps look really good - one of the thingsI planto do sometime - maybe this winter.
What I am really curious about is what kind of pipes do you have on that Rocker? how do they sound - loud? Any where did you get them, install yourself? Finally, what'd they run ya? Seriously considering upgrading the pipes on my rocker. My primary concerns are 1) dont want to lose any performance 2) dont want very loud, booming sound getting me tickets or my neighbors pissed at me every morning - I leave earlier than most. Thanks in advance for taking time to consider my questions and concerns.
Yeah like you I just bought the flush mount gas caps to go with the spun aluminium face speedo/tach I just put on. Thought it was a much cleaner and more authentic (and less tacky) look than the thundermax digital speedo and the skull gas cap and fuel guage.
I have already put the gas cap on but have yet to even look at the fitting instructions for the fuel gauge.
Do you have to take the tank off to install the fuel guage?
the pipes are bub 7 two into two they sound great they are louder than stock but they have a deep rumble not to loud. infact you can talk and hear when the bike is running. I got them from harley dealer and they put them on i think they ran 750
