Just wondering if anybody has used this kit. I am 6'3 and would like to extend the pegs on my 2007 FXST. Has anybody put this kit on themselves? Also how is the Ness product? I have never bought anything from there so I am looking for some input.
Thanks
Hey Highflyer I have the Ness 3" ext on my 07 FXSTC. Also had them on my 03 Deuce. The sidestand use to bang on the primary of the 03 but is fine on the 07. They changed the forward controls on the 07 up models so the ness kit is different as well. Best thing U can do to a softail I recon if you like a bit of leg room. Poted some pics of the exts.
I've got the ness kit on my 06 night train. Best investment so far. I did the kit myself, pretty simple to install too! I have no problem with my kickstand hitting anything.
Thanks for all the replies guys. I think i will give it a try and see how I like them. Thanks for the pics BlackDragon!!!!! Those really helped me out.
Just put the Kuryakyn extension kit on my Dyna yesterday, World of difference I'm 6' 2" and the 3 in extension is just right, Kury kit is all chrome and looks good. Kit I had was for dyna but I'm sure they have a kit for a softail. Easy install took about 45 min would take about 15 the second time around. Just another option

You're going to need a jack to install these because it requires removal of the jiffy stand when doing the left side. I have them on my springer classic and at 6' they really help.
