DIY Cheap Mods
Used Part number2106-0151 from NAMZ Custom cycle Products
This is the water proof momentary switch used on Road Kings for OD switching
Pre wired keychain garage door opener with tails
Drilled hole in Console near gas tank
Attached momentary switch used caps to twist wires together (to make battery changes easier)
Used Mastic tape to attach opener case to front of inside f console

etc..i dont keer, youre right..works great, easy to beautify
when i feel like spending any $.

my reversible/demountable mods.
the coiled usb cable goes to thunderMax.
not gonna spend any money on these mods
replaced hockey puck w/ebay popups..then reinforced them.
hose clamps:: reinforce latch body, and holds installation tight
against lid shock force.
vertical divider file storage..
had 1/8" mat'l and paintstix and white gorilla tape..
didnt wanna buy black tape and velcro..
that would work great and easily adjustable..mhaybe someday..
holds tool roll, spare gas.. narrow divider holds android tablet,
battery pack, etc.
this is my fave.. would be great if i used all black tempered
hardboard, plastiDipped some color..
and adjustable velcro
properly adjusted striker plus hdd magnet makes lid shut solid like a
good car door..
replaced to security bolts for installation...pics arent clear
rekeyed lock to ignition key ..

Went down to to my local hardware store with my 2 bolts and purchased some that were an inch longer, and some nuts used as spacers. The nuts actually just sit on the bolt, not thread on since the bolt has a shank on it. Finished the nuts with some black spray paint and buttoned it up.
:note: I did have to cut 1/2in off of the short bolt on the brake side to get It to thread up.

I went to Home Depot an got some corner re-enforcement brackets for just over 2 bucks, rounded the square corners an enlarged the holes an painted em black...picked up 2 of the bolts for the housing on the forks from the dealership for a buck each an got this:

I may do something different in the future but this gets the job done for now, I moved them while replacing the stock bars.
