Removed third leg and threw in drawer, bent rest of bracket over with a little persuasion from rubber mallet. Drilled new plate mounting holes. Looks much better now!

Question, for you or anyone who bought these, seems like this part is no longer available, did anyone find an equivalent replacement in same Amber/Yellow color? It does not need to be from Amazon.
Here's one I want to do. Fishing pole holder. Mounted to the two holes in the side plates for the sissy bar so can be universal. I am thinking an old 13/4 inch drag pipe cut to 32 inches and slotted for reel facing out. Also would rivet a old army belt to hold the rod from flying out. Also has to lean back like a tow truck out of passengers way if you have one.
I ve been thinking cheap harbor freight stick welder but not sure how and what they can weld. Has this been done?
I picked up a new helmet and noticed that the old style D rings have been replaced with a quick snap close/open ratchet style mechanism, which I like much better over the D rings but I quickly found the bulky clip assembly would dig into my neck.
So I made a neck strap out of a piece of scrap leather. Took me 15 min to make it and it made a huge difference in comfort, so I figured to share, since I cannot be the only one out there with this issue.
I cut the bucket organizer in half and trim to fit for the most part, mark out the distance apart for mounting holes, add your fender washer, lock nut and wing nut and you have pocket pouches mounted to your bag, and a zipper bag to hold all your registration, insurance ect.
Not a problem fellas! Glad to pass along the info. I've put about 4 on co-workers bikes and they work great for them as well. The softail bags don't have as large of an opening as the hard bags, but the 5gal bucket organizer still fits in the bag and leaves plenty of room for storage in the bag.
