Hotrod i had to call this morning to confirm, 6th gear pull. As far as the correction factor i dont know. By the way the tuners name is mark at rc cycles. Hell of a tuner, from what i gathered he likes the pv tuner, bob likes the tts. Bob doesnt work on Mondays, but it all worked out. I guess he spent 2 hrs on the dyno id say, pretty easy to tune a relatively stock bike. Just for the heck of it we tried a little timing variations but the ol girl didnt respond well to it. Im good for a while now, gotta buy momma some stuff for the house before i dump more into my toy.! Lmao. Gotta give props to scott Palmer again for recommendations on rc cycle.

Cool CVO Springer Exhaust question

I could really use some help with trying to figure out if this CVO Springer exhaust is worth experimenting with on my bike. I posted the question in a new thread, but I have had no response at all. Anyone knowledgeable about the CVO stock exhaust? I would appreciate the help, Thanks.

Bob
Bob try posting this in the exhaust section. Or try the search feature in that thread. Maybe more luck....

Default Exhaust question

I would suggest going to your local dyno tuning centre and asking which exhausts are best for your bike

Cool Exhaust/Dyno

That is a good idea, while I love my local dealer the experience with power increasing parts is limited. I did post in the exhaust section, hoping that I might be able to find someone that knows the factory parts real well.

I have only been active on here for a week, even though I have been reading here for more than a year. I appreciate the direction, would have never thought there was a section for just exhaust, yet why wouldn't there be? haha

I think I may take them all apart and see where the cats are. I don't know what is involved with removing them, but I thought I might try.

The reason for asking here is simple, trying to decide if it is worth the time and effort to mess with them. Once I have done this, I will want to try them. If it doesn't run great, then I will want to take to the tuner and get TTS remapped. Once I get it remapped, if I don't like it, then put old pipes back on, get remap and say good by to about $800 for just an idea.

So then all of a sudden it appears I should have just spent the money to buy a Thundermax and there goes another grand. Kind of the "Old Man in the Sea" program.

And that is why I ask the questions! ( long way around to why the Forum is here in the first place!)

Thanks,
Bob
