Default Doubts about Stealership tuning....

I am hoping to get more input on what I was told and other research and numbers I have seen. Even in the SE catalog it shows the HP and TQ improvement of a 96 after this kit to be much higher than what I currently have. One other question - I only have one run on my dyno sheet and I asked the dealer why there was not 2 like many I have seen on here. I thought there would be an initial base run done that would be on the printout and then another run done after they achieved the best tune.

I talked with the stealer today and as I thought I had been told before they stated that on the 2011 the heads have ACRs that are basically dormant until engine mods and a SEST activate them. Whether or not this is true I have no idea but here are the specs of the Stage 3 using original heads with no work done:

3 7/8" highlighted cylinders
forged aluminum 10.5:1 pistons
259E cam
high performance valve springs
Perfect Fit pushrods
SEST

After talking with one guy today, he stated that they tune with efficiency in my and at an AFR between 12.5 and 13.5.

With the D&D Lowcat and a RSD intake, I am baffled by the 92.62 hp and 97.33 tq. I am supposed to go by and talk with the service manager tomorrow but I am looking for some facts to back up my point. Thanks for the input. Sorry its so long.

Thx,

Blair

It looks like they just put a MAP in your bike and ran it on the dyno. Look at the bottom of your sheet, where the writting is. You will see this run is named "runfile_002". That means that this was only the second pass made on the dyno. They probably made 3 quick passes and printed the best of the 3. They did NOT do any tuning on it at all. That much I can guarantee. If they did, your file name would be more like "runfile_032" or higher. Good luck with your talk.

You need headwork to bring that sucker to life. There may be a little more in it with a better tune but not much. The stock heads are holding you back alot. Those cams should want about 10.7 - 10.8:1 compression also.

How much of an increase does headwork give with a setup like this?

A 103" with good headwork and that setup should be capable of 110/110 easily.
