did I get to show you my 'Contraption' .. on my QD windshield, it did cost me around 30$ to fabricate but it is QD, really ugly and WORKS.
I never use it on a day trip, over night and long distance, I use it for the long haul to help me stay longer on the highway and reduce rain effect.
So yet.. they work.. amazing difference .. and when I arrive my destination they go out in 5 seconds before I take my helmet off as they are butt ugly LOL

THE CONTRAPTION

Well I found out it isn't the wind deflectors vibrating. For some reason, after installing them the headlight is what's vibrating. I have a nacelle and something in there is what's making the noise. Have no idea how to trouble shoot that. Strange.

Studiopeg, maybe the redirection of the wind caused by the fangs is putting more pressure/air to the headlight bucket and this is why you hear the rattling. I would take the headlight out and look for loose wires in the bucket. Any loose wires could be wrapped in electrical tape or some such thing to soften the sound or maybe even taped down to the bucket with electrical tape to prevent them from being rattled.

OK now I FINALLY really found out what's been vibrating ever since putting these wind deflectors on.

It's my chrome housing that goes around the triple trees (I think) that the forks go up into. It's only on the right side (when looking forward sitting on the bike) and that's the one we had a horrible time getting the bolt into.

It's a resonating frequency thing... certain speeds in certain gears. If I reach my hand down and just press on the piece it instantly stops.

There aren't any loose bolts on that piece, it is what it is.

This is such a bummer. I really feel I have to take the wind deflectors off. The vibration is very loud, annoying, and people riding with me ask what the heck that noise is.

Unless there are any suggestions from you awesome guys here!

Im going from memory so this may be a little off. Look behind the upper part of the tin, I believe their is an L bracket. The upper bolt that holds the brake line to the tin is connected to the L bracket. The L bracket is also attached to the triple tree and will keep the tin solid and from vibrating.
