Sigh. Can't get it installed - when I undid the bottom bolt the light bar shot forward. I can't get it back in line... the top bolt just spins and spins I can't get it to catch. The bottom bolt I think went back in crooked and I think I stripped the threads.
Was out there for 45 minutes. So frustrated. I wish I would have undid one bolt and put the deflector on then undid the second one. Now I'm screwed.
I got the right one on very easily, having learned to only take one bolt out at a time. The other side's bolt is messed up - will have to get my mechanic to see what he can do. Figures, I always end up screwing something up.
The fang hits my engine guard helmet lock. That lock has those tamper proof screws. Anyone know what you have to do to get those tamper-proof screws out?

I am seeing that these mount on the outside of the light bar bracket, where there is the possibility of scratching that bracket on the outside visible surface if removed. For those of you that have mounted these and then removed them was there ant damage to the underlying chrome on the light bar mounting bracket? Anyone installed them on the inside of the bracket instead or can that be done?
Success!! Just took the first ride with them and there is a difference. Head gets less buffeting but still gets wind. Will post a pic later, they don't look as bad as I thought they would.
