i changed the risers on my crossbones to 3" rsd with rsd vintage bars and used a drag specialties part vt37-0864. these riser studs let you use any risers on a springer fork. solved a massive problem i had and would highly recommend
Don't you need adapters?
the bolts for the springer font end thread down from the top... conventional have bolts that attach from the bottom...
and aren't they a different thread size...

Cheesecake, are those BR ape hangers on your bike? If so what model? They fit the bike perfectly!
So one of my winter projects is to put some drag bars on my xbones. I've got the bars but I need to get an extra inch on the stock risers. I thought this would be the easy part. I have spent a few evenings looking online for Black 4" risers that will fit my xbones but with no luck.
Wild 1 has a set but the have a pull back that I am not looking for, I also found a set at choppersinc but they are not quite what I am looking for either (not the '6 gun' theme).
Looking around I see some 'conversion' studs adapters. Has anyone used these? It looks like these adapter studs should allow me to put what ever 'regular' riser I would like on..?
NYC Chopper have some Crossbones risers, they only show 3.5 inch risers on their website I asked if they could do them in 6" and they said no problem,
On a different note I email Harley over this problem and asked why I can buy anything from a custom nut to a new seat for my bones but not a new set of longer risers, as this isnt a problem for any other Harley I haven't had a answer yet but when I do I will put it on the forum
