You will need a press to change them as you have to compress the spring to take the shok apart or take them to an indy or dealer and they will charge you to install them.

you will need a press for sure. go to the arlen ness web site. they have install instructions there. after you install dont forget to adjust dampening as ride will be horrible if not adjusted. and prepare to get a hernia to loosen up side bolts to frame as HD super torqes them in...good luck...

your gonna need a spanner wrench to adjust shocks for dampening. i had a indy who adjusted mine to the stiffest setting and ride is just fine with no bottom outs. my weight is aroung 220lbs....i did the bolt install but had a indy who did my adjustments

sounds like a $100 bucks for bolt install could be your best bet. screw the headaches. drive your ride to the indy then a couple of hours pick it up and ride. or remove shocks urself and indy will install bolts for $25 buck then put back in. When i did mine, i wished i payed the $100. shocks were a PITA to remove. very tight fit. sounds like your not to familier with shocks but i could be wrong.

nooooooooooooooo way dont do it..............is your sight worth 25 bucks...............they do sell a kit that just screws to your stock bolts but would you trust it for the money..................i went with wild one bolts, 50 bucks, indy install 25..........so for a safe lowered ride for 75 bucks....you cant beat it.................imo the progressive 422s dont ride that much better............plus you can put that money toward air ride
