I'm looking for info. Anyone have a Brawler solo seat on a X Bones? If so, how do you like it? Did you get any more leg room with it over the stock seat? I'm just a little tall for the bike, but I'm not real sure I want to put a Tallboy seat on a bike like this. Don't think it would look right. So, any info? Also, anyone running staggered Short Shots with a quiet baffle? The stock pipes need to go, but I don't want to wake the dead. Or get the attention of an LEO at a light. Thanks in advance for the responses.
I have Santee Short Shots on mine, check out my pics in my album. They have removable baffles. I like the sound, loud but not annoying. I take the baffles out every now and then.
I had quiet baffles in my shortshots on my Nightrain at one point, they have a more mellower tone lower than the stock baffles. The packing burned off mine in like 2000 miles. I have BCT in there now, yes they are loud but still have a deep note.
i had the brawler on mine for a while and liked it. im 6'3" and felt comfortable on it but it puts a little more bend in your knees with the floorboards. i rode to texas with the brawler seat right after i put it on and had no complaints. i did have to change back to the stock seat because of a back injury i couldnt keep my legs bent up and missed the exta cushion of the spring seat. if i was willing to lose my floorboards and go with foward control pegs it would of been perfect but i like my boards so ill probably end up selling the brawler and just modify my stock seat.
I've got the staggered short shots on mine. Love the sound, they're loud but to me not too bad. i have the baffles but have yet to try them. might throw them on in the next couple of days and give them a listen.
