If you pull this off post a how to on the forum cause I will be right behind you... (By like a year cause I already spent too much green on my bike this year...!)
I'm in the middle of that myself with my fxstc with swapping out the 21"spokes for machined. So far Harley believe it or not has the best prices. Some are totally out to lunch in price. No frigging cnc wheel is worth 2500 bucks as in some sites.

This is my next mod, anyone have any pics or opinions for where to start pricing rims from. Thanks in advance
That would look trick. The DNA wheel would match your stock rear pretty good iffin's yer only gonna buy one wheel?
I just did a set of 60 spoke black hub/rim with stainless spokes on my Train. Cost me $720.00 for both with bearings and all.
I would guess you could buy just the front 40 spoker with the rim portion PC'ed black and the hub in a natural alloy color to match you rear fairly cheap from these cats:http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/21-HA...Q5fAccessories
The wheels come directly from DNA and although it takes a few weeks to get um' powdercoated and to your door mine showed up looking excellent for the price with no install issues whatsoever.
That was my plan, just pull the fender off. Chaz that bike looks great, how do you like the stage 3 kit? Worth the money?
Absolutely. The bike was a cookie cutter stage 2 dealer installed 95" with a set of 211 cams and it was cool. After dropping another fistful of yen towards the headwork, hand matched rings, adjustable push rods etc..etc.. The bike comes on violent out of the hole, sounds just nasty when you are on the gas and is just way more fun to ride..... 120 miles to the tank around town is a good tank though!
I live and ride at 6,000 up to 10,000 feet above sea-level. A stock Harley up here runs like a riding lawnmower. Compression and headwork is a must for the high altitude crew we lose apprx 10-15% motor efficiency up here.
