Has anyone running a Heartland kit decided not to use the rock guard that comes with the kit?
Seems like the one in the kit kinda wraps to much of the tire. I was thinking of trying the Stainless Steel on from HD where is sits flush and doesnt have any side wall.

can you do that? i didn't think you'd be able to use the HD rock guard with the Heartland kit.
